Has there ever been a bigger turnaround in Division One of the Lidl National Football League than this - Galway bounced back from a 19-point defeat by Cork last week to beat Dublin in Parnell Park by six on Sunday.

"I knew coming up here that there was hunger and hurt from last weekend," says Galway captain Edel Colcannon. "We wanted to put that right.

"It hasn't been an easy year with our captain Tracey Leonard getting injured (cruciate) and a lot of us aren't over it yet, but wins like this mean a lot. It's massive for this group."

Galway are now level on points with Dublin, Armagh and Kerry.
