Dublin and Kilkenny dominate the nominees for the September GAA/GPA All-Star Player of the Month awards.
In football Brian Fenton, Philip McMahon and Paddy Andrews are up for the award.
Galway's Conor Whelan breaks up the All-Ireland monopoly in the hurling section, as he is up for the award with Kilkenny duo Michael Fennelly and TJ Reid.
The winners of the GAA/GPA Opel Player of the Month Award for September will be chosen by the inter-county playing body, and will be announced at a presentation in Croke Park on Wednesday 7th of October.
