Shane O'Neill comes into the Cork team for Sunday's All-Ireland SHC quarter-final against Galway at Semple Stadium.

The experienced Bishopstown clubman reclaims the number two jersey having been absent since the Munster semi-final loss to Waterford in early June. O'Neill indirectly replaces Alan Cadogan in the only change from the side that defeated Clare by 0-20 to 0-17 last time out.

Manager Jimmy Barry-Murphy will have a full hand to deal with following the return of Lorcán McLoughlin from a shoulder injury.

Cork (SHC v Galway) - Anthony Nash; Shane O'Neill, Brian Murphy, Stephen McDonnell; Damien Cahalane, Mark Ellis, Cormac Murphy; Aidan Walsh, Daniel Kearney; Brian Lawton, Patrick Cronin, Bill Cooper; Conor Lehane, Seamus Harnedy, Patrick Horgan.
