The first of this year's provincial finals were down for decision this afternoon.

In total, we had two finals to be played as well as an All-Ireland SHC qualifier and an All-Ireland SFC qualifier down for decision.

So once again it was a busy afternoon as the Munster SFC and Leinster SHC were the big attractions of the day.

Cork and Kerry renewed rivalries down south in the Munster SFC decider, while in Croke Park, Galway and Kilkenny met in the Leinster final.

Westmeath hosted Limerick in the All-Ireland SHC qualifiers, while Fermanagh and Antrim went head to head for the second time this year in the championship, this time though in the qualifiers.
