Eoin Larkin says Kilkenny's Leinster hurling final opponents, Galway, are "a serious team".
The Cats needed a replay to get past the Tribesmen at the semi-final stage last year and another tight contest is in store when the teams renew their rivalry at Croke Park on July 5th.
"They're impressive, they're scoring, are doing well and their backs are coming up with scores as well so we'll have our work cut out in two weeks' time," the former Hurler of the Year states in The Irish Examiner.
"They're a serious team and the big question about Galway over the last couple of years was could they repeat a performance after a good performance. But they proved that against Laois and they seem to be a different Galway team."
