There was another round of matches in the Galway senior football league last weekend.
Frank Doherty's St James' may have lost their championship opener to Mountbellew-Moylough but they currently sit at the top of the pile with a 100% record after four outings in Division One. They defeated neighbours Salthill-Knocknacarra (who are pointless at the foot of the table) by 1-11 to 0-11 on Friday.
All-Ireland champions Corofin also boast a 100% record but have only played three times, while unbeaten Milltown have accumulated seven points from a possible eight.
Cortoon, who beat Barna last Friday, are top of the Division Two table with six points out of six; likewise Kilkerrin-Clonberne (victors over Claregalway last weekend) in Division Three.
