Following their exit from the NHL, Galway manager Anthony Cunningham knows what needs to be done ahead of the Leinster championship.

Galway suffered a crushing defeat to Waterford in the quarterfinal last weekend and the critics are out in force condemning their display.

Cunningham acknowledged the fact that display was not good enough, but he also feels that they have enough time to prepare for the clash against Dublin on May 31st.

"We have a good few guys to come back and we know there is huge ability in this team," Cunningham stressed to the Connacht Tribune.

"Guys are just going to have to turn around their form. As I said, it was a bad second half (against Dublin) and a bad first half (against Waterford) and you will get punished.

"You have to be on top of your game every single day you are out there. We are definitely, massively looking forward to the championship but we have a lot of work to do."
