Galway hurlers know that they will face a stern test against Waterford in Sunday's NHL quarterfinal on Sunday afternoon.

The sides meet at Walsh Park and Waterford go into the match having gained promotion back to Division 1A last weekend.

They have improved with each outing, while Galway have had a mixed campaign, losing their last match to Dublin at Parnell Park last weekend.

The tribesmen were already through to the quarterfinals ahead of the Dublin game and they must step up their performance against the Decies this Sunday.
