Galway manager Alan Flynn insists Mayo are favourites going into tomorrow's Connacht U21FC semi-final at Elvery's MacHale Park.

Flynn, who led the Tribesmen to All-Ireland glory in this grade two years ago, will be able to call on the Corofin sextet of Liam Silke, Conor Cunningham, Kieran Molloy, Colin Brady, Martin Farragher and Dylan Wall after their All-Ireland club success on Tuesday.

Mayo were All-Ireland minor champions two years ago and have the benefit of a first round win over Leitrim, but Flynn pointed out in the Connacht Tribune: "I suppose the other side of it is that we have seen Mayo in action so we know what we are up against.

"They are favourites for this game, while Roscommon are favourites to win it (Connacht) out and are second favourites to win the All-Ireland. So we know where we are perceived to be. The first game, though, is key."
