The draw was made on Monday night for the Galway Senior Hurling championship and this year there is a change to the championship with no more preliminary rounds. Last year we lost Castlegar and St Thomas before the championship got going proper. We have two groups of six and two groups of five with fixtures beginning in April. John Mulholland, the better bettor for GAA, has opened the betting on the groups and revised the outright betting below with Gort favourites to retain their title.
