Gary Sice and his Corofin team-mates are aiming to reach their full potential against holders St Vincent's in Saturday's All-Ireland Club SFC semi-final.

The Galway champions exited the competition at the semi-final stage in 2008 and '09 and Sice is hoping they can go, at least, one step further this year.

"We've come to this stage in two other years we didn't drive on," he outlined to The Irish Independent.

"We've had good players so hopefully this time we can fulfil what's been spoken about and what (potential) we have.

"We were a young squad in those years, many of us hadn't been there before. We weren't naive but maybe Kilmacud in 2008 were more seasoned.

"We were missing one or two lads like Mike Comer - he was a serious Galway player at that stage.

"You need everyone."
