The National Football league throws in this weekend with huge match ups as expected in Division One. All Ireland Champions Kerry host Mayo in a repeat of last year's epic semi-final replay. Will Kerry be slow out of the stalls again this year? Dublin have finally won that elusive one for Jim Gavin, The O Byrne Cup and will have plenty of supporters in the rest of Ireland seeing them regain their title after their capitulation to the Jim McGuinness master plan in the All Ireland Semi Finals. John Mulhollands quotes them at 5/4 for the All Ireland and the same price for the League. They're 3/1 to win both to add to Sunday's trophy. Dublin are 16/1 to win all seven league matches starting away to Cork this weekend. Relegation will be tough to call with Derry and Monaghan favourites at Evens but slow starts could easily drag both All Ireland finalists Donegal (3/1) and Kerry at (9/2) into the mix like in previous seasons.
Kevin Walsh suffered a five point defeat in Sunday's FBD League final letting in four goals in the second half. However preseason form is not for taking as gospel and they're priced as 8/11 favourite this weekend. Galway are 7/2 for Division Two, 7/4 to be promoted and 6/1 to go down.
