This weekend sees two Galway hurling clubs bid for places in their respective All-Ireland club championships.

In the intermediate club hurling championship semi-final, Cappataggle head for the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick on Sunday where they will take on London senior champions Kilburn Gaels.

The Galway side enter this game as underdogs and will need a big performance to book their place in the final.

Meanwhile, Annaghdown will take on Kilkenny's Bennettsbridge in the All-Ireland club JHC semi-final at Nenagh on Sunday also.

This is another tough match for the Galway side as Bennettsbridge cruised through the Leinster campaign beating many intermediate teams along the way.
