The 2013 All Stars secured the bragging rights over their 2014 counterparts with a high-scoring 10-7 to 5-5 victory in the annual exhibition match in The Irish Cultural Centre in Canton, Boston today.

The Jim Gavin-managed side led James Horan's charges by 4-6 to 3-4 at the halfway stage. 

Bernard Brogan top-scored for the winners with three goals while Aidan O'Shea (2), Tony Kernan, Sean Cavanagh, Donnacha Walsh, Conor McManus and Martin Dunne also netted for the winners.

Keith Higgins (2), Neil Gallagher, Shane Walsh and Paddy McBrearty raised green flags for the 2014 selection.

In the curtain-raiser, Boston and New York played out an entertaining draw that finished 1-9 apiece.
