Turloughmore have completed back-to-back county minor hurling championship successes.

The club captured their second successive crown in this grade with an emphatic 2-17 to 2-7 victory over Loughrea in the decider last weekend.

Turlough' were always going to be the team to beat this year as they still had a number of players left over from last year's all-conquering side, while Richard Doyle, Jamie Holland, Sean Linnane, Conor Shaughnessy and Sean Loftus all starred for the Galway minors this summer.

The MHC success comes as a timely boost for Turloughmore ahead of their county SHC quarter-final clash with Ardrahan in Athenry this Saturday.
