Hurling match and next managers market

August 27, 2014

There is only one match down locally this weekend between Craughwell and Beagh. This match was postponed earlier in the season due to adverse weather. The match is scheduled for Friday evening at 6:30.
John Mulholland rate Beagh the 1/2 favouirtes and Craughwell 15/8.

Tonight it is expected that Kieran McGeeney will be ratified as the Armagh manager. Attention will turn locally to who will succeed Alan Mulholland as the football manager. His own betting firm have priced up the market since his departure and Kevin Walsh remains the hot favourite to get the post. A few more surprise names have been added to the list including Jack O Connor of Kerry but with the board making noises that it must be a Galway man, Walsh remains the obvious candidate
