Mountbellew-Moylough's dubious reward for beating Killererin in the Galway SFC last weekend is a quarter-final meeting with Corofin.

Val Daly's charges were paired with the champions, who are hot favourites to retain the Frank Fox Cup, in last Sunday night's draw. St. Michael's and Annaghdown will contest another of the quarter-finals after they also avoided the preliminary round quarter-finals.

There are three preliminary round quarter-finals which will see NUIG - who enter the title at this juncture - take on Bearna, Tuam Stars oppose Caherlistrane and Salthill-Knocknacarra face Micheal Breathnach.

The winners of NUIG v Bearna will meet the winners of Tuam Stars v Caherlistrane, while the winners of the Salthill/Knocknacarra tie will take on Milltown.

In the relegation preliminary quarter-finals, Cortoon Shamrocks will face St. James', Caltra will meet Killererin, Menlough take on Kilconly and Carna-Cashel face Connemara rivals An Cheathru Rua. The losers of Cortoon v St. James' will play Leitir Mor, while the losers of Caltra v Killererin will square up to the losers of Kilkerrin-Clonberne.
