Only a few days away until the Galway Races. This day next week it's the Galway Plate and Thursday's feature is the Galway Hurdle. John Mulholland is now betting antepost on both these races. The Plate looks wide open at 10/1 the field but in the richest handicap hurdle race, Willie Mullins Pique Sous is already a hotly priced favourite in such a competitive race. Galway manager and managing director of John Mulholland's will hopefully have to find cover for the weekend this year IF his side can overcome Tipperary this weekend. Tipperary have been the surprise package of the summer and having met for the first time in the championship in 110 years, like buses they do battle once again this weekend after Galway won by four points in 2013.
