Four more games in the group stages of the Galway SHC take place this weekend.

The action gets underway this evening when Turloughmore meet Tynagh/Abbey-Duniry in Athenry. Turloughmore parted company with Clare's Tony Considine last month and are now managed by Gerry Holland who will be hoping to make a winning start in his new role.

Craughwell, who lost county star Niall Healy to a cruciate ligament injury a few weeks ago, take on Beagh at Kenny Park tomorrow evening. On Sunday afternoon, county champions Portumna will be expected to account for Ardrahan in Loughrea, while Athenry are favourites to beat Carnmore on their home patch later in the day.

In last weekend's SHC games, Gort put on an impressive show to overcome Clarinbridge by 4-10 to 1-9, Sarsfields withstood a late Mullagh rally to win by 0-20 to 2-12, Tommy Larkins defeated local rivals Kilnadeema-Leitrim 0-16 to 0-12, while Andrew Daly's late point earned Killimordaly a 1-16 to 0-19 draw with Loughrea.
