Ladies set sights on All-Ireland

July 11, 2014
Galway's ladies footballers are targeting All-Ireland success after completing a three-in-a-row of Connacht titles last Sunday.

The Tribeswomen added the provincial title to their National League Division 2 crown thanks to a 1-16 to 1-12 victory over Mayo at Elvery's MacHale Park.

"We have ticked these boxes and now we have a good foundation to go on to the quarter-finals," Galway midfielder Geraldine Conneally enthused to the Connacht Tribune.

"If we can keep the intensity at training and matches, then hopefully it will also be a good foundation to drive on (in the All-Ireland series)."
