The race for the Frank Fox Cup has been put on hold until the weekend of August 9/10.

Five third round games will be down for decision that weekend, with the pick of them being the meeting of local rivals Tuam Stars and Cortoon Shamrocks. Last year's beaten finalists Salthill/Knocknacarra - who got back to winning ways against Kilconly last time out after their surprise first round reversal against An Cheathru Rua - face a Caltra side coming off the back of a heavy defeat to Caherlistrane.

The other games will see Micheal Breathnach take on St. James', Killererin up against Mountbellew-Moylough and Bearna pitting themselves against Leitir Mor. Tweet
