The Tipperary team to face Galway in the opening round of the All-Ireland SHC Qualifiers has been announced this evening.

Lar Corbett returns to the starting line-up as one of three changes from the side that were narrowly defeated by Limerick in the Munster SHC semi-final last month. The 2010 All-Ireland hero is preferred to Niall O'Meara at left corner forward.

The two other changes see James Woodlock and Ronan Maher, a younger brother of full back Padraic, come in at midfield for Kieran Bergin and Shane McGrath.

The team will line out as follows:

Darren Gleeson; Cathal Barrett, Padraic Maher, Michael Cahill; James Barry, Conor O'Mahony, Brendan Maher; Ronan Maher, James Woodlock; Gearoid Ryan, Patrick Maher, John O'Dwyer; Noel McGrath, Seamus Callanan, Lar Corbett.
