Finian Hanley's shoulder injury is not as bad as first feared.
The Galway full-back picked up the injury following a collision with Vinny Corey during Sunday's narrow FL2 defeat to Monaghan in Clones.
A scan on Monday revealed that no bones were broken and he should be fit to line out against London in the Connacht SFC quarter-final.
"Once there was nothing broken, I should be okay for championship," Hanley - who is facing four-weeks on the sideline - revealed to the Irish Independent.
"There is quite a division in the joint, but I should know more on Friday."
