Galway defender Fergal Moore has stressed that they are not getting carried away, despite reaching the NHL semi final.

Moore is experienced enough to know that there is a lot of hard work to be done yet, as they prepare to face Kilkenny on Sunday, April 27th.

Following last year's campaign that ended dismally, Moore stated to the Connacht Tribune that they were taking each game as it comes in the campaign.

"After the year we had last year, we can't be getting ahead of ourselves. So we have to take it one game at a time and try and get a consistent level of performance out of every players that takes the field and if we can do that we be in a good stead come the championship," said Moore.

"Hopefully the graph is on an upward curve now and it all about keeping it going. The games are only going to get harder from here on in and that is when there will be a true test of the squad."
