Micheal Donoghue got the green light to continue as Galway senior hurling manager for a further two years at last night’s Galway County Committee.
The Clarinbridge clubman – who took over from Anthony Cunningham two years ago – guided the Tribesmen to a first Liam MacCarthy Cup success since 1988 in 2017.
They fell at the final hurdle this year but added a Leinster SFC to their roll of honour.
