Jack McCaffrey was named RTE's All-Ireland SFC final 'Man of the Match' last night.

The Clontarf flier beat off stiff competition from team-mates Paul Mannion and Ciaran Kilkenny to take the individual accolade as the all-conquering Dubs made it four All-Ireland wins on the trot.

GAA President John Horan presented the award to the Sky Blues' number 7 who sustained a cruciate ligament injury in the corresponding fixture 12 months ago.

Meanwhile, McCaffrey is one of eight Dubs that made it on to The Sunday Game's Team of the Year that was selected by Tomas O Se, Sean Cavanagh, Ciaran Whelan, Michael Murphy, Colm Cooper and Lee Keegan.

Kilkenny was the panel's unanimous choice for the 'Footballer of the Year' gong. Defeated finalists Tyrone and Monaghan have two representatives on the team while Donegal, Galway and Kerry have one each.
