Kildare are set to field the same side for the fourth successive game this summer as they prepare to face Galway in Newbridge on Sunday.

Cian O'Neill's charges were narrowly beaten by Monaghan on a 0-15 to 1-10 scoreline in their All-Ireland SFC Super 8s opener at Croke Park.

And O'Neill has opted to keep faith with the starting 15 that came unstuck against the Farney men after beating Fermanagh and Mayo to qualify for the new quarter-final series.

The Lilywhites celebrated a famous victory over Mayo in their last outing at St Conleth's Park and they will be looking to make home advantage count against Connacht opposition once again this weekend.

Kildare (All-Ireland SFC v Galway): Mark Donnellan; Peter Kelly, David Hyland, Mick O'Grady; Johnny Byrne, Eoin Doyle, Kevin Flynn; Kevin Feely, Tommy Moolick; Fergal Conway, Paul Cribbin, Keith Cribbin; Neil Flynn, Daniel Flynn, Paddy Brophy.
