Clarke best keeper

(Oldest Posts First)

I have long banged the drum for stevo on here. Best keeper ever. Still stand by it. But today the baton passed to Clarke. Best keeper in Ireland in 2016. No question. Class act. Does it all and does it all well. Well done

Great game bar the meltdown he had towards end when he gifted Dublin 2 points

Is this the Mayo keeper you're talking about? Very ordinary...the only thing in his favour is that he's better than the man he replaced as keeper... In my opinion, if there's an All Star out there in a very ordinary year for keepers, I'd give it to the Tipp keeper

He had a load of dodgy kickouts; some straight to Dublin players and some where Mayo players were outnumbered 4 to 2. Also not great under the high ball. Good shot stopper though.

Great shot stopper, some awful kickouts.

Kicked 3 very poor kick outs in a row at a critical point in the game - one of which was connollys point -

For s Mayo fan must have been as frustrating as seamus o Shea who gave the ball away 3 times in 2 minutes

I rate Clarke highly but a few kickouts went south yesterday at key points. Very solid shot stopper though and would always have him in front of Hennelly.

Great shot stopper. Terrible kick out. Dodgy under the high ball yesterday and made poor decisions in terms of coming of line. Tipperary keeper is the all star for me.

Clarke kept us in the game when we were on the brink in the 1st half. Few dodgy kickouts towards the end but a solid performance overall. Cluxton's kickouts are on another level to everyone elses (even though he had 2 or 3 dodgy ones).

Clarke had some dodgy ones in the first half too. Although he made some excellent saves yesterday.

Great keeper to save a goal from the opposition not from his own players!!!sorry!!
Kick outs and distribution are shocking at times but look if he improves in the final he could get the all star.

Ridiculously good but hasn't got much praise outside of Ulster yet. Playing division 1 next year should raise his profile tho.
