Have Dublin played everyone in the championship?

(Oldest Posts First)

A few years ago, Kerry played Donegal or someone in the championship, and one of the Irish papers (maybe the Independent) put a story online that Kerry had now played everyone in the championship since the beginning, with the exception of London and Kilkenny. I can't find the article now. However, have Dublin gone one (or two) better and played all 31 other counties in the championship plus London? I believe they have; they completed the set in 2015 when they played Fermanagh. They've beaten every county too except Limerick, who were the winners in the very delayed 1896 All-Ireland final and they haven't met since then.

I might be wrong but I don't think they have ever played Sligo in the championship.

Dublin beat Sligo in the 4th round of the qualifiers back in 2001.

Dublin played Sligo in the 2001 qualifiers from what I can remember. Dublin being victorious in Croke Park. Sligo should have got to the All Ireland final the year after in my opinion

The hidden gem that is http://gaelicstats.com/head-to-head/ suggests they played in 2001. Otherwise good thinking! That's exactly the kind of opponent they might never have had. I hope that website is accurate. I'd love if they had hurling games in there too.

2001 I think in qualifier gave em quite a beating 14 or 15 points.

Dublin and Antrim were provincial champions in 1908 and played in that year's All-Ireland semi-final in February 1909 with Dublin winning. (Looks like they might have played in the previous championship also although Wikipedia link says not, but even though the Ulster championship looks like it was finished late, why would Monaghan be nominated if they'd already lost in Ulster? Look at dates and results.)
