Gap Between 2nd & 3rd Match in Thurles

(Oldest Posts First)

It seems baffling to me that the games on Satutday are scheduled to throw in @ 2pm, 3:45pm & 6:45pm. Can anyone explain why those attending the last two games or indeed all three, must be subjected to such a delay between the last 2 fixtures??

bit of a nuisance all right - ill be going myself and would prefer a lesser gap -- few possible reasons could be
-tv as ormond says -bear in mind sky showing the replay and the olympics are on
- could both camogie games go to extra time
- both camogie games are fixed close to original times (was due to be played in kilkenny)
- maybe they are the times that were convenient to the teams involved

or maybe rte didnt want the games to clash with six one sports news which according to some on the other thread is the most important vehicle for showing hurling and football
