Congratulations Tyrone on winning Ulster again.

Do Ulster proud and bring Sam back to the provence. You are our best chance and this time bring Sam through Monaghan town, not the alternative routes.

Monaghan Man

Have some dignity man. Could never imagine a Dublin fan hoping that Meath would 'do us proud" by winning an All-0Ireland!!! You'd never hear a Kerry man hoping that Cork would do them proud either!

Good man Observer. Appreciate the good wishes. Ignore the hostile Dub. He knows nothing of such things as "community","comraderie" etc that we Ulster neighbours know of. Lol:)

Get real, if the provinces meant anything to people outside of Ulster, the Railway Cup would be alive and kicking...

Stupid thread.

There are still 12 teams in the competition. Neither Dublin nor Tyrone, with all due respect to them, are in the final yet.

You are a Leinster man. I'm an Ulster man. We think differently. And if an Ulster team gets to the All Ireland final, the majority of Ulster GAA men will support that Ulster county.

They have to get over their quarter and semi final first before they can give Dublin a rattle, no? Dublin likewise also.

That's the thing about Ulster. We have some fierce rivalries but once Ulster is finished and we're not meeting each other, by and large we will get behind our fellow Ulster teams. Not all the time or everyone, but most of the time and by the majority.

What I would say though is we have a long way to go before we meet the Dubs

Why is that not having dignity. Hell I was arguing with a Tyrone man during the game the last day for a late hit and then after the game we had a good chat and I wished him and his team best. I know a lot more Tyrone people than I do Dubs and I like that they don't get a bye to the Quarter finals. That's a person individual opinion.
There is a bond developed through an almighty rivalry.

Now don't get me wrong I don't like Tyrone enough to start a thread but I can understand a monaghan man backing them.

With the Route Tyrone have they will hopefully get to a final and the finals have a way of taking care of themselves one way or another.

Donegal going down the other Route have to beat Cork, Dublin and Kerry to even get to a final. Not impossible but definitely not likely.

Donegal are just as good as them to be honest. There was nothing in that game.

I don't know Red Hand but who's to say he has any interest in rugby, soccer or tiddlywinks even? It's a GAA forum talking about GAA teams, what has the Ulster Rugby team got to do with anything?

Aw come on lads and let the Monaghan lad shout for whoever he wants. If that's the thing up north then good luck to them. Personally I can't see myself shouting for Ross or Galway down the line as either of them winning Sam wouldn't do anything for my blood pressure. If this keeps up you'll have Ulsterman jumping in with his size twelves and then it will all kick off. It's a beautiful sunny day so think happy thoughts!!!

Apart from 2 bitter Down folk - but good post I think its good that after the Ulster teams knock lumps out of each other in the USFC that they get behind their teams in Croker - of course until they meet again there.

Well if you'd bothered to follow the thread you'll understand that my post was in his response to the usual lazy cheap shot that Dublin supporters
for some reason are 'soccer supporters'. So perhaps you will now respond to him and repeat your message about this being a GAA forum and not a soccer forum.
