Some observations from the roadmap for the remainder of the football season. The main one being that one from (Sligo, Clare, Laois, Derry, Meath, Cavan, Carlow, Tipperary, Galway and Roscommon) will be definitely in the semi final. Great to see a new team in the last four, who do people fancy to take that slot? The other one being if Mayo get through the back door and Dublin win Leinster there is a 50/50 chance they will meet in the QF.. Could this be the chance for the battle harderd Mayo who would have had three tough back door games to slay the Dubs?
1) Big difference in "quality" between A sides and B Sides as shown by the fact that one of the teams from 2A, Connacht final and Tipperary will be in the AI semi-final… 2) Could be a massive game in 3B if Mayo, Monaghan, Cork and Kildare/Offaly progress. 3) If Mayo/Monaghan/Cork get through to QFs they will play either Leinster or Ulster Winners.. 4) Kerry as usual will have an easy quarter final (one of the seven teams in 2A and Connacht Final Loser). 5) Longford for example must feel very frustrated, if they swapped with any team on the A side they would fancy their chances.

The draw has determined that Ulster Champs v Connacht Champs ( or their victors, if unsuccessful at 1/4 final stage) will meet in Semi. I think I am right in saying, you can add Tyrone & Donegal to that list!
