In the Cavan game both the 2nd and 3rd goal Cavan got where square balls. The rule states the player may enter the square after the last deliberate kick, hand pass or flick. For the 2nd goal David Givney flicks the ball and moynagh who is standing the square before the flick puts it in. For the 3rd goal the ball is hand passed across to Givney who at no stage leaves the square before or after the ball is played. Bad refereeing, but fair play to Cavan for battling away and they got the breaks they deserved.
