Come on posters what's the thoughts on the champions against Laois this Saturday ????

In a Liam Neeson accent; when I find out who gave me the red finger I will hunt you down and I when I find you I will kill you.

It will be good craic in Kilkenny at the weekend! The weather will hopefully still be good and there should be a boisterous atmosphere with the large traveling Dublin support.
As for the game itself, it will have a bit of a novelty factor to it but Dublin will coast it by about 7/8 points I'd say.

If Laois manage to keep the deficit under 15 they'll be doing really well however I fear Dublin will want to send a message to Mayo + Tyrone as to who the big dog in the land is and also to prove they can dominate on the road just like they do in Croke Park.

Seriously through Dublin don't start their championship until middle of August and the semi final with Kerry. Their training sessions would be more competitive than the Leinster championship no matter how much the media try to hype these games.

Same as if they in Amy other provinces then, how did Monahan fare against them?

I don't think Monaghan has ever beaten the Dubs in the Championship.

Problem is if you have best side in country playing in province with no other Div 1 teams and only two Div 2 sides with rest in 3 and 4. That said rest of provinces particularly early on not much different with one sided fare. And we have at least competed with the Dubs last few occasions we have met two narrow one point losses after learning from heavy beatings we took previously. Not hitting out at any one county in particular but its heads in sand time again if people can't see the provincial system has had its day. Last thing GAA needs with popularity of other sports is continuation of lop sided championship with nailed on results in three of the four provincial championships and no real proper competitive fare until August outside of latter stages of Ulster.

Anything other than a relatively handy win would be a surprise.Wrong venue but will be great to go on the road.
Dubs by 8-10 points.

Without paddy Andrews, The Dubs will implode and Laois will win handy.

Very worrying injury at this stage he missed the league final which was 6/7 weeks ago and still not fit , he's playing the ball of his life it would be sick if he's out for the summer.

Look I shouldn't have wrote that, as I wasnt having a go at Monaghan either.
I guess its frustration, we all know what dubs will do in Leinster, but we are the ones to actually have to get up every year and face them, every other province can have teams that at least can aim for a provincial title.
However if my memory is correct only 4 teams have beat Dublin since 2010 inc Meath been one of them , others Kerry , mayo Donegal, I may be missing one , but its not something that any other team or provinces can say if they were only here. Again I shouldn't have singled out Monahan, that was unfair.

Anyone else surprised to hear the GAA saying it wont sell out and a crowd just under 20,000 is expected
