I believe that team who have already met in the championship can meet again. The only criteria which follows is if a team was away in Round 1 last year, they are at home this year. However if the two teams drawn were away from home in 2015, the first team out has home venue.

The first of this year's GAA Championship Qualifier Draws will take place next Tuesday, June 7 live on RTÉ's Morning Ireland following the 8.30am news headlines. The draw will produce pairings for round one of the GAA Football Championship Qualifiers. Round 1a Four games take place on w/e June 18th/19th Draw involves the eight counties on the "A" side of the Provincial Championship that do not qualify for the Provincial Semi-Finals, i.e. the losers of the following games: Leinster: Carlow, Meath/Louth, Wicklow, Laois/Dublin Ulster: Derry, Armagh Munster: Waterford Connacht: Leitrim Procedure: All eight slips placed in one bowl; 1st team drawn plays 2nd, 3rd drawn plays 4th and so on. London were beaten by Mayo in the Connacht SFC last Sunday. Round 1b Four games take place on w/e June 25th/26th Draw involves the eight counties on the "B" side of the Provincial Championship that do not qualify for the Provincial Semi-Finals, i.e. the losers of the following games: Leinster: Longford, Offaly/Westmeath, Wexford Ulster: Monaghan/Down, Antrim, Fermanagh/Donegal Munster: Limerick Connacht: London Procedure: All eight slips placed in one bowl; 1st team drawn plays 2nd, 3rd drawn plays 4th and so on. In both draws, first team drawn shall have home advantage; Exceptions: i. Where two teams who have already met in the provincial championship are drawn to meet, the winner of the provincial championship game shall have home advantage. ii. Except as provided for in Exception (i) above, if a County did not have home advantage in the 1stRound of the 2015 Qualifier Series, it shall have Home Advantage in the 1st Round in 2016.
