Legend is a word often bandied around but in Sean Boylans case it is apt for both his GAA exploits & off the field also. I was aware of Sean & his story through family members who knew him & I had the honour of meeting him at a function in Trim a few years ago & had a conversation with him that left an indelible mark on me. A few years ago there was an excellent documentary on RTE Radio 1 about Sean & his Dad. Sean, his father & Sean's family are an example to us all, this is the type of man the GAA need to utilise.

Indeed that is Sean, anyone who has met him would say the same, the impression he leaves on you is remarkable and something no one will ever forget. I feel now that Sean is a hero to the country not just to Meath people, if the man ever ran for president he would walk it, honestly who wouldn't vote for Sean?

LEGEND. Great football man and very likeable fella. He never rubbed it in to opponents or gloated in victory either. He always seemed to have a good word for Ulster sides and his teams could play ball as well as box when they had to.

Would agree a class act. I think his achievements in football and life in general are a reminder , that anything is possible if you believe in what you are doing.
One of the good guys.
