Does any body know what time this show will be finished at on Sunday?

Looks like a Cavan man getting nervous about paying 35.00!

In fairness it's a good question. Especially if you were bringing a few kids with you and have to head back up to Cavan afterwards and have them up for school in the morning.

Supposedly 3,500 participants in the post game entertainment. All going to plan the Dublin v Kerry game should finish around 5pm.Trophy presentation will take another 20 minutes, approx.Say 5.30 for start of show.Probably go on for an hour(thats a guess).

Doesn't mention anywhere what time it's over at. It doesn't even say on the tickets what time the bloody thing starts at never mind finishes, just says 'followed by Laochra' after the match details.

3,500 participants?

If the Gaels v Tans re-enactment goes to extra-time ye'll be there for the night!

Laochra is been televised on TG4 from 5.20 to 5.55 on Sunday I wonder if we could take it that it is a 35 minute show and we will be leaving Croker having seen 2 great matches and Laochra @ 6.
We will be in Croke Park @ 1.15

Quick thinking there Breffnisbest. Didn't think to check the TV listings.

Yeah I think it's a half hour show
Due to start at 5.20 but that could be 5.30 depending on cup presentation and all in all of day be finished at 6pm

Do all you supporters of the four teams playing not think its a privilege that your teams are playing there on such a historical occasion
I say -- never mind the cost or the time , be there and enjoy the day

Absolutely a privilege ...proud to be able to be there on Sunday. Made me reflect on Kerry's role in the 1916 weekend...preparations didn't go well in Kerry, on Good Friday, three volunteers drowned on the way down to cut the telegram links on Valentia island, then we had the shooting of two RIC men on the Saturday putting the British forces on high alert in Kerry and then of course, the failure of the Aud and the capture of Roger Casement.

Mind you Kerry nearly scupperd the preparations for the Rising the Autumn before when Austin Stack (Kerry Volunteer Commander) under the instructions of Dublin (Pearse) sent three Kerry lads up to Dublin to collect arms in preparation for the forthcoming Rising/large costal shipment of arms. They went up in the train under the cover of the AI Kerry v Wexford final. The volunteers never factored in one thing though..Kerry losing. One of the lads was so upset that he went off drowning his sorrows and left the other two lads in need of assistance in Heuston Station with a consignment of arms. They managed to get the weapons down to Kerry, however your man turned up a week later...even a 100 years ago, we didn't like losing!
