While Crossmaglen have been the standard bearers in club football in Armagh, Ulster and Ireland for almost two decades, the other two clubs have descended into mediocrity, with both teams languishing in intermediate football in Armagh.
Clan na Gael featured in five Ulster finals and one All Ireland final, winning three and losing out in a replay in 1974 to UCD.
