I also fancy Na Piarsaigh against the bridge but it will by tighter than it was in 2013. The Bridge may not have many on the county panel but they have been very successful in Clare in underage in the last 10 years. They depend on Gilligan mostly for frees and he normally doesn't contribute a huge amount from play. Downes and Dowling will be crucial I would expect More to try use his pace on Dowling. They can't let Fitzpatrick mark him like they did in parts of 2013 as he is too slow over first few yards. Breen being injured will increase the chances for the Bridge along with home advantage. dubshurling7 (Dublin) - Posts: 1017 - 25/10/2015 10:49:21 1801786 Link 0 |
Cushendall won today in an epic encounter before a fantastic crowd.... After finding it difficult to overcome Middletown, the Dall were the better team even if it did go to extra time..... cuchulainn35 (Armagh) - Posts: 1671 - 25/10/2015 17:39:16 1801842 Link 0 |
Well said Cuchullain. An epic encounter from 2 fantastic teams, before a large passionate crowd. Long time since I encountered such an outstanding match. Glensboy (Antrim) - Posts: 286 - 25/10/2015 17:48:53 1801845 Link 0 |
Good win by na Piarsigh and without david breen! theyve won two munsters in recent years and will be aiming high this year and its a good year to do so with traditional powers like portumna and ballyhale out of their respective counties. Thurlas sarsfields are going to pose a massive test but Na Piarsigh have a lot of experience at this level to draw on and the most impressive thing ive seen with them is they don't panic when behind, case in point county final and SMB match.. blackspot91 (Limerick) - Posts: 1055 - 26/10/2015 12:47:27 1801946 Link 0 |
