Do something for Mayo fans.

To ask them to come up to Croke park twice in 6 days is a tough ask. Accomodation, travel, ticket, food and so on for a family of 4 for example would cost an awful lot.

Anyone who had a ticket for yesterdays game should get their ticket for this weekend for half price. Think trains and buses should cut their prices too.

Not gonna happen though. But if it was a final it would so why not now ?

In fairness the point about the all-Ireland hurling finals is a good one & The GAA probably could reduce this one to 50 euro a ticket.

Can't see it happening although they definitely should do something for them. Looks like it's going to be another sell-out though. Tickets.ie announced this morning that the 1st batch sold old in minutes. The 2nd batch went on sale at 11:00 but you can't even get on the site now, keeps crashing. I thought EP would affect attendance but clearly not.

I'd say a lot of people coming up for the hurling that were taking in an overnight might have snapped up some tickets maybe?

NO chance. THe Grab all association will never drop their prices because they know it will sell out. Hurling replays don's sell out.

No company would want to lose out on all that income for no real return. Why would they. Why should any bus company etc lose out to help fans. Bus/Train companies should not have to and If it was tipp I wouldn't see any problem with JJ Kavanaghs or any bus company taking tipp people to game keeping bus price the exact same.

Maybe like last year they could move a replayed semi final to a venue that suited both sets of travelling supporters.

We have been doing it for 5 years now wayno...getting to at least a semi and on two occasions finals. Throw in league games and I have spent thousands following them. I love it though and its my choice. I do feel for family's though. Many with kids back to school yesterday would not have been home till 10:00pm last night. Loads of counties would love that complaint though I suppose.

Tickets for the replay are a little cheaper to be fair. Accommodation will be the big problem with the Hurling Final on Sunday.

well you like a right old fool now considering they indeed dropped the prices.

If they're the Grab All Association how would you describe the Rugby for charging more to a glorified friendly match in the Aviva? Considering this event is 10 times better it's incredible that you can get tickets for 20 and 30 euro.

The hurling replays always sold out, was bigger crowd than the football final in 2013

Would be naive to think any company let alone the GAA would do half price anything simply because its a replay and would be a nice gesture. Its business not charity.

Wayno licking up to the culchies again! just look out for your own county buddy and let the rest of the country look after themselves! We take enough stick off them, just look at all the anti -dublin post's on here today, to be fair there's a few nondubs trying to bring a bit of perspective on yesterday's game but very few!

We understand what is being said but here is 1 thing that annoys me why do Irish rail advertise prices 1 way, how do they think we get home, thumbing a lift, maybe row a make shift tub down the royal canal but that only gets us to the midlands or now I got it we could go up to the Croke Park skyline or walk and wave our hands and fly home like a bird, why the hell don't they tell us the correct price return at least we can know we are going to be robbed before we click into anything else

As a Dublin hurling season ticket holder i was given the option to buy tickets for both the Hurling final and replay last year close to the date as they weren't selling out.
