I have huge admiration for my neighbours across the water. 10 reasons why they wil retain Sam.

1.Eamon Fitzmaurice-best manager and master tactian
2.Midfield Partnership-Moran & Maher in form of life.best Kerry midfield partnership since 80s
3.Gouch-Player of his generation
4.Inside Line-Geaney and ODonoghue 2 best scoring forwards in game
5.Strength in Depth-Could afford leave Tommy Walsh,Paul Galvin on bench.strongest panel in country
6.Adaptability-Team can win in style/ugly
7.Tacking-Great workrate from their midfield/forwards tackling, best in the business.watch Johnny Buckley display last Sunday
8.Leaders-OSe and OMahony may be 35 but still great leaders along with Moran,Gouch,O'Donghue
9.History-Kerry will want to back to back Sams like the 06/07 team
10.Natural Footballers-People like to portray Kerry as cynical.Dis is nonsense they are the best footballers in the land

No 10 : Natural footballers. I always laugh when I see this . Its like Mayo , Dublin , Donegal et dont have 'natural' footballer. Most interounty footballers are natural . Using my own county as an example : most of our defenders are regular scorers and are comfortable on the ball ie Frank McGylnn.

I take your point on the rest though although I think Dublin will win it outright.

Cant argue with that list stato.. however Dublin or Mayo will be tougher then any opponent we have met this year.

Fitzmaurice has proven he is a good tactician and hopefully he is watching carefully next Sunday as we will need to adapt to whoever comes through on Sunday.

I can easily think of ten reasons we could lose as well!

But sure nice of our friends from Clare to be talking us up.

At the end of the day Kerry will be 70 mins away from retaining their title.

Play to their potential and anything can happen...

Kerry are suspect when teams run at them with hard runners on the overlap. Both Mayo and Dublin have players capable of doing this.
An interesting few weeks ahead. Head and heart says Mayo will do it!

Dubs or Mayo will beat them due to more hunger in the Final.

Is the Eamon Fitzmaurice thing overblown? Look he is a very good manager but he has great players. If Mayo didn't screw up in the dying minutes of the first game last year, Kerry would be still waiting for a Sam under him. Cork possibly should have won the Munster final, the first day. I am not trying to undermine what he has achieved and he will probably win more All Ireland's but I think we sometimes build up managers more than what they actually are.

1) Good Manager, Master Technician? He came up against nothing and lucky not to concede 3 goals last Sunday. Everyone knew what way Tyrone would play though change of Donaghy for Geaney was the game changer
2) Moran & Maher in form of life.best Kerry midfield partnership since 80s - Looked dodgy enough with a small Tyrone midfield MD Macauley or Seamus O'Se may have something different
3) Def up there but unfortunately like Sean Cav coming near the end of an amazing career.
4) Inside Line-Geaney and ODonoghue 2 best scoring forwards in game - McCarron held O'Donoghue scoreless from play but Geaney was the difference
5) Can't disagree with that I think the whole country is in AWE of the Kerry Squad, they could get 2 teams in the last 8 I think.
6) Adaptability - Ugly? Cynical? Defensive?
7) Tacking-Great workrate from their midfield/forwards tackling, best in the business.watch Johnny Buckley display last Sunday. You've singled out 1 forward
8) Kerry did always seem to pull ahead when Tyrone tried to come back at the fair play but to say they are a team full of leaders i'm not too sure
9) History - Kerry will want to back to back Sams like the 06/07 team Doesnt matter if they are going for 10 in a row or their first ever history shouldn't play a part they should want to win it every year like all 33 counties dream before the season
10) Natural footballers - Kerry have the best breed of footballers in the country, no doubt about that but every county has them. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. Only 70mins decides the winner of Sam question of who will want it more.

It may seem like im coming across bitter saying im coming from Tyrone but we deserved to get beat by Kerry due to the missed opportunities, but sorry to say we should have beaten Kerry if we took 1/2 goal opportunities especially just before and after half time. Kerry didnt look unbeatable last Sunday and think that the likes of Brogan and Connolly or O'Connor and O'Se are going to be a bigger threat than McAliskey and McCurry.

Personally I thought if we did get to the final we would get beat by either Mayo or Dublin. With Kerry in the final I think Dublin would provide a tougher test for them than Mayo. So my prediction is

Kerry v Mayo - Kerry -5
Kerry v Dublin - Dublin -2
