Awful news last night from Mayo where an All Ireland winning minor 2 years ago was killed in a car accident. May God be good to him. Hopefully there will be a minutes silence in his honour next Sunday.

Terrible news. A very talented player he was, scoring 1-2 in the 2013 minor final. Thoughts and prayers to his family, friends and teammates. Also thinking of the lad who was injured in the same accident. Puts the match this Sunday into perspective.

Ah I don't believe it that's the kid I was asking the Mayo lads about who had the crazy haircut in the minor final , he was brilliant in that final and I was wondering was he on the senior panel yet wonderful footballer, terrible news RIP Darragh.

Really sad news, there are far too many young people dying on our roads. Wouldn't it be some tribute to see his county reach the AI final on Sunday, I really hope they do.
