Kerry Second Team

Can anyone match this bench? Would probably win Leinster and challenge Kerry A in Munster

Their first 15 aint too shabby either probably third best in the land after mayo and dublin and that is despite the fact they have to play two 35 year olds in the fullback line

This threads always give me a chuckle.

The vast majority of players that are not in the first 15...are on the bench for a reason. they are simply not good enough to dislodge the players on the first 15 or coming back from injury etc.

On paper a 2nd team may look strong but the only thing won on paper is a crossword, puzzle etc!!

Time to split the Kingdom, make them enter two teams. So unfair on the rest of us.

It's a poor attempt at trying to be cute. When it comes to wit and being cute, the Webels are a long way behind Dublin and Kerry.

We used to have this debate about Kilkennys second 15 neing the second best team in the country until they had to use a few of those lads and lost.

Another silly thread.

ahhh thanks i needed a laugh this morning.

As one poster asked do you watch football at all.

We can all have a whip around and get you a season ticket maybe if you watched a few more games you might have a better understanding of teams..

But thanks again for the laugh

Drivel post....this person (Cork???) has a very unhealty obsession with Kerry! Amazing posts all over HS....
I live in Kerry, respect Kerry GAA big time....but please....fawning over them like this is just embarrassing!

That's unreal....

I guess Dublin's options would be second best to that this year...

We've lost some key men

O'Gara, Mannion, Brennan, Kev Nolan...

All 4 players had a big part to play in our last 2 AI wins...

All completely unavailable in 2015

Def don't have the options when compared to previous seasons

No ye have even more options now from the last few U21 teams . ye have dominated the U21 scene on a national level, we can hardly win a game. 1 U21 Munster (Munster! Not referring to All Ireland) in the last 13 seasons! and we have the best options dont make me laugh

McCaffrey Kilkenny, O Conghaile, Lowndes, Small, Brian Fenton, Paul Mannion, Cormac Costello, Conor McHugh off the top of my head from those dominating U21 teams.

There are many more fine players I've no doubt (ask any knowledgeable Dublin fan and they'll know a lot more than I do)

You will say 'But McHugh/O'Conghaile have played very little/no senior IC football' but that just highlights the vast array of options at Gavin's disposal. If they were from anywhere else they would be in the senior team for at least 2 years but the Blue Machine is the hardest lineup to crack in Irish sport.

Whereas the Kerry U21 setup for the last decade and a half? .......................Tumbleweed
1 Munster Title in 13 years? Same as Waterford and Limerick and well well behind Cork and Tipperary.
