Rumours circulating that Michael Murphy is out of the Donegal game. Huge news if true, massive psychological boost to Galway ShortGrass_1 (Kildare) - Posts: 223 - 01/08/2015 12:59:28 1761964 Link 0 |
His knee was heavily strapped with a skin coloured bandage in Ulster Final so if rumour is true I'm not surprised. Adler (Monaghan) - Posts: 754 - 01/08/2015 13:08:04 1761972 Link 0 |
This is massive for Galway, not only does it give a boost to Galway's pretty strong midfield that Murphy won't be out the field at times and a huge relief for their weak full back line Victorious87 (Wicklow) - Posts: 597 - 01/08/2015 13:30:56 1761985 Link 0 |
Might be a good thing for Donegal players to prove they can win without Michael. hutto (Monaghan) - Posts: 171 - 01/08/2015 13:58:23 1761990 Link 0 |

why would they keep him in reserve for next week, when they haven't won today just yet ? waynoI (Dublin) - Posts: 13650 - 01/08/2015 14:30:23 1762005 Link 0 |
In the Ulster final M Murphy was nowhere near his best , in fact that day I thought M M, Colm mcF Ordan C Tote and M mcElhinney played poorly. To me that day the rest of the team carried Donegal. I think it gives a young lad a great chance to prove himself and I'd put H McFadden on the edge of the square SamOnErrigal (Donegal) - Posts: 1427 - 01/08/2015 14:38:29 1762010 Link 0 |

Best to rest him now for the next day if he's carrying any sort of knock. Saying that, not expecting Galway to be a soft touch, I'd say Donegal by 4-5, even without one of the best players in the country on the field. Just can't see Galway scoring enough against that blanket COYBIB93 (Dublin) - Posts: 2 - 01/08/2015 16:03:53 1762027 Link 0 |
If he starts on the bench then so be it. MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5028 - 01/08/2015 16:20:45 1762034 Link 0 |
