Any GAA club near Croker doing parking/meal/Bus

(Oldest Posts First)

Tomsmith here

I just wonder is any GAA club doing any deals for the two big games on Saturday and/or Sunday
I feel that if a club did parking meal and bus to the game it would be well supported
Anyone to assist

pinkie here,

I bring my own sandwiches, ham and tomato and lettuce with mayonnaise and plenty of butter on lovely fresh Brennan's bread. They 3 flasks of tea washed down with custard creams or even a couple of mikado if times are good.

No GAA club serving dinner will ever compete.

Na Fianna on Mobhi road is about a 15 min walk from Croker. They do carvery dinners on Sunday's only, nice bar too for a couple of scoops. Has a decent sized car park and you could also park in the school grounds which are beside it. It's the closest clubhouse to Croker that I know of.

St Vincents is about 20 minutes walk, plenty of parking spaces, nice bar, not sure if they do food though.

Moylagh their is a clubhouse in Croker at the back of the Hill. Great little gem and very friendly for the family.

Tom. Drive down to Maynooth, a fiver for parking for the day, get the spuds in one of the many fine bars and restaurants, train in to Drumcondra. Train back to Maynooth after the games and if you have a driver could enjoy some lovely pints in some great pubs and no hassle getting onto the open road home.
