It says more about the poor standard of Provincial Championships imo. Cork got caught by the quick turn around but Leinster and Connaught losing finalists this year were poor which leads you to ask questions of the teams they beat. A bad team would never get to a Ulster final and Donegal will show that next week. sam1884 (UK) - Posts: 999 - 26/07/2015 18:23:19 1759304 Link 0 |
Fancy Donegal to beat Galway, And then Mayo to know Donegal out personally. waynoI (Dublin) - Posts: 13650 - 26/07/2015 18:31:45 1759308 Link 0 |
Wexford and Meath were two seeded Leinster semi-finalists from last year. Westmeath beat the both of them. Westmeath fully deserved their place in the Leinster final. Full credit to Fermanagh for beating them yesterday. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7821 - 26/07/2015 19:49:48 1759348 Link 0 |
In 2010 the 4 provincial champions were knocked out at the quarter final stage. Not sure if its happened to the beaten finalists in round 4 before? butters1990 (Kildare) - Posts: 262 - 26/07/2015 20:23:48 1759370 Link 0 |
