Ive just seen the article where Skinner is playing in european football this week. Has been a bit of a debate up here the past year. Some question if a player should give up or cut down on county duties to make a few quid playing another sport. DoireCityFC (Derry) - Posts: 1580 - 08/07/2015 15:34:47 1749951 Link 0 |
Going back a few years I know but Kevin McCabe used to combine playing for Tyrone with playing for Portadown and Mickey McDonald Armagh with Cliftonville, can't think of many more nowadays. brendtheredhand (Tyrone) - Posts: 10897 - 08/07/2015 15:45:11 1749967 Link 0 |

A good while back and a little different I know but Kevin Moran Dublin and Man U for a while before he went back once or twice with injuries. Top player in both codes. SLLY (Dublin) - Posts: 463 - 08/07/2015 16:00:44 1749988 Link 0 |

He's an excellent soccer forward - saw him play for Coleraine and Glenavon. He can score and he really gets stuck in. Suas Sios (None) - Posts: 1550 - 08/07/2015 17:03:07 1750043 Link 0 |
Kevin Moran played for Dublin after he had signed for United. GreenandRed (Mayo) - Posts: 7290 - 08/07/2015 18:47:56 1750108 Link 0 |
A few of the Antrim lads over the years have played soccer - off the top of my head: Liam Watson played for Donegal Celtic, Kevin Niblock played with Cliftonville (think CJ, Pollock and Chris Kerr might also have been with them though open to correction on that). I am sure there are more. Offside_Rule (Antrim) - Posts: 4058 - 08/07/2015 19:59:14 1750141 Link 0 |
