Serious question folks, See a lot of kids now have proper sports glasses when playing as young kids are not normally allowed to Wear contact lenses until they are older and I think they are a sensible solution. However what does an Adult that cannot wear contact lenses do? (either do not help their vision or don't like them). I have yet to see any adult Footballer wear Edgar Davids type glasses, is this because it is not practical or that they are not allowed? I know the are open to peole messing with them (Hurlers no so much) but it would surley be better than playing with limited vision. Some people get laser treatment but that does not suit everyone either (pockets or perscription).

Ive seen some rugby players wearing them so there is adult versions. Is there anything in rules that covers wearing of glasses while playing?
Thats it ormondbannerman, Cant see anything in the rules in relation to it and as I had'nt seen any audults wear them I put the question out there. They are not too expensive I suppose if you consider the cost of normal frames and cost of contact lenses... anyone ever seen someone play GAA them?
