Otbar. You are a brave man, predicting that Westmeath will do something that they have been unable to do in 130 years

If this was to pass, Joe himself would rise up and sing a version of the Westmeath Batchelor, they wouldn't close a pub in Mullingar or athlone (the good side) for the night , not a cow milked and a county wide day of celebration on Monday with all offices and schools closed.
Trust me it wont happen this year, it may happen in years to come but not this year, too much baggage and too many mental scars.

Its not lately ziggy, its been that way since 91, now you'll probably even hear that its me, look at the lad from Boyle (gaalover) he despises us same as every rossie, take it as a compliment, its jealousy pure and simple.

So you fancy Antrim to beat Kildare in Newbridge?

You should answer that question yourself with the bull some Meath posters were saying about the rossies all year. Anyway on the topic
Dublin- Leinster champs and all Ireland champs
Meath-Leinster semis and 4 round qualifiers
Laois - Leinster semis and all Ireland quarters
Kildare- lose to Laois and 3rd round qualifiers
Westmeath- Leinster final and lose straight away again after that

I know of no Westmeath fan who would say theyd beat Meath this year , shows how little anybody from Roscommon knows about football:) , sure they'll even say they don't play puke football, deliverance returns, now get your banjos. N

Prediction: Louth to sneak their way through the backdoor to round four.
Reality: Just get over the line against Leitrim and get beaten in round two.

Hard to say how far teams will go, depends on the draw and Kildare & Laois are in the easier side of the qualifiers draw so could make last 12 or 8 without having to play anyone decent,
Dublin will be there or thereabouts for Sam,
Meath likely leinster finalists, If they are at full strength can make last 8 and if things went really well are capable of pushing on further this year, However If their injuries persist then a short summer beckons
The winner of Kildare v Laois could push on and go to last 8, they would both need to find a bit extra during the summer to be capable of an upset at that stage,
Westmeath an outside chance of last 8 at best, they have some good players, depends on their belief and desire
Longford not as bad an outfit as their game against Dub suggests and I hope they get a run in the qualifiers

Sure it's a joke of a topic so gave it the answer it deserved what u expect lads to say meath will win all Ireland.
Believe westmeath aren't as bad as made out to be and may have a middling scalp in them
Sligo could have it for us
Tipp could have it for kerry
Armagh could have it for donegal
No point doing 7 and 8 months of training if you believe your beaten by tradition before you turn up

Ahh well ill give the answer i think is most likely to come about
Dublin likely Leinster (unless Meath spring a shock) winners and all Ireland winners
Meath Leinster finalist and all ire quarters, might make all semis as a surprise,
Kildare Leinster semis and all quarters
Laois Leinster quarters all Ireland quarters
Westmeath Leinster semis 4th round all ire.

The rest unfortunately wont feature at all.

Dublin will win leinster at their ease, we all know that. However I think people do not realise that kildare and meath are effectively missing half a team at present. I genuinely believe that there is an all Ireland in either county in the next five years. Look at us for example, at the present time we are missing the following: Peter kelly (all star 2010), paddy brophy (afl), Sean hurley (afl), Daniel flynn (gone travelling) darroch mulhall(best young talent we have, injured), niall kelly (not fully fit), Hugh mcgrillen (dropped himself off panel) tomas o Connor (dropped himself off panel). There's some really good u21 and minor teams coming through also and I think once we have everyone to pick from we can give the all Ireland a good crack.

Meath have EASILY the best players available of any other county outside of Dublin, but they have major issues.
