The only reason I can think of is that theres a double bill today, but it happens alot in the GAA. Why put a small crowd into a colossal stadium? Must be disheartening for the players too. joncarter (Galway) - Posts: 2692 - 28/03/2015 17:31:32 1707298 Link 0 |

The Dubs are hurling ok but Limerick are very poor. Its no surprise now that they werent in the 2a promotion match. ZUL10 (Clare) - Posts: 693 - 28/03/2015 17:58:49 1707305 Link 0 |

Sitting here in this cavern - a bit like a slow day in the Grande Canyon, enjoyed the one-sided hurling match (Limerick seem to be still on their winter break) and looking forward to Dublin trying to breakdown the blanket - hopefully I'll be surprised. But the burgers are nice and the place is filling up now for the football - this could all have been housed in Parnell park. arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4892 - 28/03/2015 18:40:39 1707330 Link 0 |

Keep the league out of croker and be done with.it. They took leinster hurling and the all Ireland quarter finals out of it. Surely not the place for terrible league matches. Seriously disappointed with limerick too. They didn't even try. Dubs were only ok which bodes even worse for limerick Doylerwex (Wexford) - Posts: 2600 - 29/03/2015 10:42:56 1707535 Link 0 |

Croker has to fund itself. The TV rights bring in income. If the product wasn't so awful I'd have gone to the games myself. I've said it once and I'll say it again...never ever put a football match on after a hurling game. It's like being served a batterburger for second course after having filet mignon for first. Offaly score 3 points in one half. As i write this it looks like Galway will have 5 in one half. gotmilk (Fermanagh) - Posts: 4971 - 29/03/2015 16:35:11 1707846 Link 0 |
